The Now and the Know

Have you ever found yourself in a place and you have no clue how you got there?

I imagine that’s how you’re feeling now.

Regardless of the how or why, you’ve made your way to my blog.

So I suppose, if you’ve read my stuff and liked/hated it enough to click on my “about” section, I should explain myself.

I am 22 years old.

I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion.

I grew up in a traditional Lutheran faith, which at one point caused me to develop a stereotypical aversion to tradition… I grew out of that.

I enjoy playing music.

My career and my passion (or one of them) is EMS.

I work at a church. A big church. A mega church. … I work at a church.

I am not as theologically liberal as I could be, but more so than some.

I am some sort of Calvinist and a big fan of Karl Barth.

I read a lot of stuff that one might classify as emergent, but since no one really knows what that means, I don’t call myself that.

Mostly I am just trying to contribute to the conversation.
